Newsletter Week 4 Term 4 2025
Principal's Message
Dear Warwick Central State School community,
What a vibrant start to the term we are having! Our students have already shown great enthusiasm for learning and school life. It's nearly time for all classes to begin their assessments of learning for the semester, and some have already started. This is a huge undertaking for students and teachers alike, to ensure we make best judgements of student outcomes in the semester report cards.
Recently, we’ve celebrated some wonderful events – from our 150-year anniversary to creative performances and themed days that have brought our community together. It’s been fantastic to see so many families involved and supporting our students’ achievements.
As we move through the term, I want to remind everyone of a few key expectations:
Attendance matters. Every day counts, and being at school consistently gives students the best chance to succeed. If your child is going to be away, please contact the office as soon as possible to let us know.
Positive behaviour choices are expected from all students, every day. We’re proud of the respectful, responsible, and kind way our students represent Warwick Central, following Central RULES, and we’ll continue to uphold those high standards across the term.
Today is also World Teachers’ Day – a moment to recognise and celebrate the dedication, professionalism, and care shown by our teachers every single day. We are incredibly fortunate to have such a committed and skilled teaching team guiding our students.
Let’s keep the focus strong on learning, attendance, and positive choices so every student can finish the year on a high note.
Regards,
Rhiannon Downie
